We charge parents & schools a platform fee, which we invest back into running and improving My Tutor Studio
Finding customers for you. We advertise MyTutor, so you don’t have to spend your time or money looking for customers. We have a marketing team who make us easy to find on Google, help spread the word amongst parents and run events to get everyone talking about MyTutor. Their goal is to make MyTutor a household name, so we're parents' first choice when it comes to finding a tutor.
Making sure we have enough tutors. So we can help thousands of students. Our Tutors team covers tutor recruitment, selection and training.
Making our platform the first choice for parents and schools. There are a lot of tutoring options out there, so our Tutor Matching and Customer Support teams help make the process of finding a tutor quick and simple. They’re on hand to help customers if they have any tech problems, need help booking or moving lessons, and much more.
Helping you navigate the platform. We also have a Tutor Ops team ready to help you with any questions or problems. We know that, more often than not, this is your first job and that having someone to chat to is super reassuring when working remotely. They’re here to help you with your application, scheduling, payments etc.
Helping you become the best tutor you can be. Our Tutors team are on a mission to make MyTutor the best job for university students & grads. Every day they collect your feedback and make sure it's heard throughout the business. They work hard to create training resources for you, make sure you can find the amount of work you need, set up performance-based pay schemes and run tutor reps sessions. The list goes on…
Keeping lessons safe & compliant. Our Safeguarding and Legal teams are vital in making sure every student and tutor enjoys a safe and legally compliant learning experience. This includes DBS disbursements, safeguarding checks and vetting.
Sorting your pay. Traditionally tutors would have to invoice every customer on a monthly basis, which would involve paperwork, admin, and often chasing and checking multiple payments. Our Finance team pays you for all of your lessons in one go, every two weeks.
And much more!
