At My Tutor Studio, safeguarding and student welfare are top priorities.
As a tutor working with children, you have a responsibility to report any concerning information you encounter. However, you’re not expected to handle this alone.
We have a dedicated Safeguarding team to manage any concerns you report. They handle each issue with sensitivity and complete confidentiality.
If you see something that concerns you, follow these steps:
Identify your concern.
- You might notice something in your student’s behavior, or your student might disclose concerning or sensitive information.
- Try to remember any details as accurately as possible.
Report the concern via our livechat or email.
After reporting the concern:
- Once you’ve submitted the concern, our Safeguarding team will receive an alert about the new incident.
Updates and follow-up:
- If there’s an update regarding your concern, you’ll receive an email asking you to log in and view it.
- Typically, you’ll get an update within 24-72 hours after submitting a concern.
- The My Tutor Studio Safeguarding team triages all incidents. During busy times, if your concern is classified as 'low risk,' it may take up to 5 days for a reply.
