Communicating with Parents Through My Tutor Studio
All communication between parents and our tutors must occur through the My Tutor Studio platform. To ensure a high-quality, safe, and positive experience for everyone, our support team needs visibility into these communications. For instance, if a parent feels that a tutor hasn’t responded promptly, we may need to review the messages to understand the situation fully and assist in resolving any issues. If communication happens through texting or personal emails, My Tutor Studio won’t be able to provide the necessary support. The same applies to payments made outside of our platform—our team can only assist with refunds and verify payments processed through My Tutor Studio. Help us help you!
In line with My Tutor Studio's policy, all communications should remain on our platform. We also prohibit parents and tutors from arranging any in-person meetings unless it’s at a My Tutor Studio-sponsored event.
Using Google Classroom or Other LMS Tools
While My Tutor Studio classes should not be hosted outside our platform, you are welcome to use appropriate third-party tools, like a Learning Management System (LMS), to enhance your classes. If you use an LMS such as Google Classroom or a similar tool that allows learners to log in and collaborate outside of class, it may only be used during live sessions, and never during self-paced classes or between live sessions. We discourage the use of third-party tools outside of live class time to maintain class quality and ensure content moderation.
Please note that My Tutor Studio may request access to your LMS if any issues arise during your classes.
